The DTI Dual Drop Ball/Rupture Plug Circulation Valve allows the circulation of fluid through the coiled tubing tool under normal operating conditions. Circulation to the annulus can be achieved in two ways. By increasing coiled tubing pressure to a predetermined value, the rupture plug will blow out, thereby opening a flow path from the tool string to the annulus. Also, a ball can be dropped onto the circulation piston, and the sleeve can be sheared at a lower pressure.
The valve is supplied with a blank plug which can be replaced with rated burst discs with burst pressure setting to suit operation requirements.
