The DTI Drop Ball Circulation Valve allows the circulation of fluid through to the BHA under normal operating conditions. By dropping a ball onto a piston within the circulation valve pins are sheared at a pre-set pressure and the valve opens to allow circulation to the annulus.
The piston is pressure balanced to prevent the accidental activation of the circulation valve.
The valve can be supplied with a range of pressure settings and drop ball sizes to suit operations requirements.
